Festival of Cherries A 2 day event in May.

A festival to celebrate the cherry harvest. It is held every year with over 200 musicians from bands throughout the region, there is dancing and entertainment in the streets and the atmosphere is of merriment and fun.     Restaurants offer cherry based menus and cafés serve     cherry beer. Cherry stoning and stone spitting competition. Catalan dancing in the street. Music concert followed by an open air meal

Feria - a 3 day event in July.

				This is one of the main events of the year and many visitors come to Céret to join in the fun. The bull-run consists of young bulls running through the streets with youths trying to catch their tails.Fun for all the family with music, dancing and lots of good cheer.     Bull fighting events Bull runs through the town Street Musicians Entertainment

Festival of Music - 21st June - midsummer's night

	The one day of the year when music can be played in the streets, all day and all night. This is a really popular event with a huge variety of music from brass bands, street musicians and popular French groups. People dance in the street, eat, drink and making merry. Suitable for all ages

Festival of Sardane dancing - July

		The 53rd celebration of this dance competition Sardanes competition - dancing troupes from all over Catalonia in traditional costume. Music, dancing and entertainment in the streets.

A 2 day event attended by over 2000 competitors who come to enjoy the pleasure of this challenging marathon. Music, food and entertainment are on offer along the route which takes competitors through the vineyards and forests around Céret. There are 3 running races, one of which is for children, and 1 walking race, these all take place on Sunday 19th. Saturday is reserved for dancing, eating, music and fireworks.
